These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AgentEase website and the services we provide. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
AgentEase provides ready-made AI agents that each perform a specific job for your business — such as answering calls and messages, responding to leads, handling customer questions, managing reviews, or following up with clients. We connect the agent you choose to your existing systems and tune it to how your business works. Your agent typically goes live in minutes for the Reception agent, or with white-glove setup inside your 14-day free trial for other agents, after receiving the access we need.
Before we begin, we agree in a written proposal on the agent you want, the job it will do, the systems it connects to, and the price. Prices are set out in your proposal and do not change unless the scope changes by mutual written agreement. Anything not listed in the proposal is outside the agreed scope.
Payments are made securely online through Stripe. Service begins once the scope is agreed and the payment terms set out in your proposal are met. Ongoing service is billed on a recurring basis as described in your proposal.
Self-serve plans start with a 14-day free trial. Where we collect a card at signup, we verify it with a $1 refundable authorization hold that is released immediately — it is a verification hold, not a charge, and no amount is captured. Your card is kept on file, but nothing is charged automatically: your first charge occurs only when you manually activate your subscription. If you do not activate, nothing is charged when the trial ends. You can cancel at any time and you will not be charged.
We connect your agent to the systems listed in your proposal — such as your phone line, messaging, calendar, inbox, or booking software — and tune it to your business. Your agent typically goes live in minutes for the Reception agent, or with white-glove setup inside your 14-day free trial for other agents, after receiving the access we need. Delays in providing that access may extend this timeline.
Your subscription keeps your agent running, monitored, and improving over time. There is no long-term lock-in — you may cancel with the notice stated in your proposal.
The agents are automated AI assistants, and they identify themselves as such at the start of each call, as required by applicable law. Calls may be recorded and transcribed, and the recording is disclosed to callers at the start of the call; in states that require all-party consent, the agent states that the call is recorded before continuing. As the business using AgentEase, you are responsible for how you use the agent and the recordings and messages it generates, including obtaining any consents your own industry or jurisdiction requires and complying with telemarketing, messaging (including TCPA and carrier A2P) and recording laws. We provide the compliance tools — AI disclosure, recording notice, and one-touch STOP opt-out on messages — and keep them switched on by default; you must not disable or misuse them, or use the agents for unsolicited bulk outreach, resale, or any unlawful purpose.
When our agents send text messages on behalf of a business to its customers, the following terms apply. Recipients receive service and transactional messages (appointment confirmations and reminders, invoice and payment reminders, follow-ups, and review requests) because they contacted the business or provided their number to it. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Recipients can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe and HELP for help; support is also available at support@agentease.io. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Mobile opt-in information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. As the business using AgentEase, you are responsible for ensuring recipients have consented to receive these messages, as set out in the section on AI agents, disclosure, and call recording above.
You agree to provide timely access to the systems your agent connects to, and the information it needs to do its job. Without this access we cannot connect, tune, or run your agent.
We provide a working agent that performs the agreed job. We do not guarantee any specific business outcome, such as sales, bookings, or revenue.
Your data and materials remain yours, and we treat them as confidential. The agent framework, tools, methods, and know-how we use to deliver the service remain ours.
You may cancel ongoing service with the notice stated in your proposal. Nothing is charged automatically at the end of a free trial — a first charge occurs only if you manually activate your subscription. If you cancel during a free trial, you are not charged; any $1 card-verification hold placed at signup is an authorization only and is released immediately, not a charge. Recurring fees already paid are non-refundable except where your proposal states otherwise, and any one-time setup fee becomes non-refundable once setup has begun. If you wish to cancel before setup begins, contact us and we'll work it out fairly.
Our services are provided on a reasonable-effort basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AgentEase operates, as further specified in your proposal.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
